The SSRT held it's annual Spaghetti Dinner Ride on Saturday, April
27,2013. The weather was beautiful, Gillentown Trailhead parked full and
the turn out for the dinner was great. Volunteers came from various
places across the state to help out for the event, along with Centre
County Probation Office help too. Terry & Eileen Long, Trilby Mayes,
Tom & Kathy Robbins, Ed Thomas, Lyn Carlin, Shawn Timblin, Erin
Cramer, Ken & Faye Mehallow, Jim Verost, Donna Bell & Elizabeth
Scalzo all did various things to help out and supervise others.
While enjoying the dinner the trail was also able to
get some other work done too. Stained the kiosk out in front of the
Moshannon Community Center, Collect waste from aound the center, paint
some fence railing along the SSRT - Yamaha Access Control Project.
We got a new sponsor from Lancaster area, Robinson Towing and Body Repairs.
The 50/50 winner from the Spaghetti Dinner was Shawn Erdman from Northumberland, PA. He won $116.50.
